Coffin; Our Champion at Riems: Glenn H. Curtiss and His Training Flights at Mineola and including a shot of Curtiss Flying over the Hempstead Plains and a portrait, along with photos of his engines; The Flights Above the English Channel by D.C. Teck; "ILA" the Aeronautical Exposition by Albert Palmer Loening; Rules of the Aerial Roadway; The Revelations at Fort Myer; Aerodynamical Laboratories; Sport in the Air; Current Aeronautics; much about zeppelins and their supporting equipment and a photo of 'Count Zeppelin in the Car' "High Angle Gun on its Fixed Base" regarding aerial war; Bleriot, the Antoinette, Latham, Major Parseval and his airship; aerial maneuvers; the Zahm Wind-Tunnel, the Wind Tunnel at Koutshino; "Front View of the Peruvian Aeroplane", more; interesting advertisements, many with aeronautical interest: Captain Thomas S. Baldwin, New York's Leading Manufacturer...; A. Reidinger, Herring-Curtiss Company, more; ad for the Maxim Silencer for your rifle, and other items; original illustrated paper wrap covers with color art by Berdanier, a giant winged woman's form lofting a bi-plane; some edge, tips wear, closed tears to binding; covers detached; still overall good condition, contents clean and revealing uncommon early aeronautical history as it was happening in the first part of the 20th century.

72 pages; with a tissue-guarded woodcut frontispiece by Gilbert Guinon(?); and a few tailpiece illustrations following the chapters; mainly a Christian cautionary tale for youth concerning vanity and pride in matters other than spiritual, text followed by a poem relating to the same; previous owner sentiment on endpaper; red cloth binding, decoratively blindstamped and with gilt spine titles and gilt decoration; some edge, tips wear, soiling to binding; foxing throughout the pages of the book; good condition, interesting floral and symbol interpretation sentiment history.
