215 pages (a few unopened), bibliography, index; "First Published" stated on copyright page; Chapman and Hall printed on title page, with a small slip tipped in stating "This book is now published by Chatto & Windus..." - Woolf notes that 1425 copies were printed, the book was remaindered to Simpkin Marshall and in turn the sheets bought by Chatto, and with this slip added-eventually, even Chatto moved their extra copies on to John Grant Ltd.; Woolf also notes that "...Douglas writes in Late Harvest (p. 26): "The English commercial editions omits my few illustrations but contains some corrections and a good deal of fresh material..."; some dustjacket edgewear, top of dustjacket spine chipped 1/8", darkened; one leaf with a short (1/4") closed tear; overall toning to leaves; volume in very good condition.
