Image identified & dated, with Underwood credits and information attached, stamp on back as well; sepia tones and white image, 8" x 10" approx. size; some light wear, little corner chip; very good condition and an interesting photo for horseracing history in the early part of the 20th century in New York State; the founder of the Bowman Park racecourse was John McEntee Bowman (1875-1931) Canadian-born businessman and American hotelier and horseman who was the founding president of Bowman-Biltmore Hotels Corp., here pictured with his fellow horseracing afficionados and prominent businessmen: James F. Haggerty, E.H. Manville, Robert Law, Jr. Oliver Harriman, on the inauguarl meeting of the turf course there. Very Good (Item ID: 20319)
