Humorous costumed couple; interestingly, the 'woman' appears to be a man dressed as such; and the 'man' has womanly features; with the date of Sunday, Oct. 22, 1899 written in a contemporary hand on back of mount card; perhaps an example of theatre or costume transvestism and cross dressing; approx. 5" x 6" format, mount card makes it 8" x 10"; light wear to cardstock edges; very good condition and interesting costume, theatre & photographic material.
